2024 South Florida Dinner
Hundreds of philanthropists, community leaders, students, and Holocaust survivors joined together at the Museum's 2024 South Florida Dinner in Boca Raton, Florida, to raise significant funds for the Museum's efforts to educate about the truth of Holocaust history.
We gratefully acknowledge our event leadership, Chairs Lainie and Kenny Lipschutz and Susan and Bart Lewis, for their vital roles in making this event a success. And we deeply appreciate all of our event sponsors, our speakers, our student volunteers, and the valuable support of everyone involved.
The evening featured a conversation on the Museum's urgent efforts to uncover Holocaust-era stories from the Vatican archives. And it featured special guest and Holocaust survivor Beatrice Muchman who emphasized that individual action and choice are powerful now, just as they were then. The Catholics who protected Beatrice and her cousin while they were children “followed their conscience regardless of consequence, and that is not easy,” she said. “This takes courage.”
