What did Americans know about Nazi Germany and the Holocaust at the time? What more could have been done to help Europe's Jews? Join us to learn about the motives, pressures, and fears that shaped Americans' responses to Nazi Germany. And get a behind-the-scenes look at the Museum's Americans the Holocaust exhibition, which inspired the recent PBS documentary, The U.S. and the Holocaust, directed by Ken Burns, Lynn Novick, and Sarah Botstein.

Speaker
Dr. Daniel Greene, Curator, Americans and the Holocaust, and Adjunct Professor of History, Northwestern University
