I have just read the play of the Diary of Anne Frank, and it was very.... scary. Anne starts off the book as a very hyper, overactive, super talkative girl. But as the story progresses, she becomes mature, thoughtful, and gains a sence of nature and insight of herself and those she is stuck with. Even though the book book was a play, it was filled with such emotion, anger, anxiety, and the will to live, and be free of the tyranny that they were living in. Anne never expected that her diary would be read, or it would become a book and she would become famous. The Diary of Anne Frank continues to inspire people all of the world.

I think "the Diary of Anne Frank" was a really great book. The book has really touched all the reader's hearts. I really can't imagine living in the cramped quarters Anne did... I'm depressed that Anne had to die so early in her life. Jews were REALLY mistreated during the Holocaust. I feel sorry for them.

I think that the most shocking thing was she was my age when all this happened to her! I feel sorry for everyone who suffered.XXX

Anne is so inspirational. Her thoughts were so sophisticated for such a young girl. It is most upsetting that she did not get to persue her dreams. The story of her life overall is extremely sad! But at least she got to live on through her journals as she had hoped. If only we would listen to her wise ideals, the world would be a better place.

I think Anne Frank is an inspiration both a writer and as a teenager. She had a lot of courage and brains. I know that she and her family suffered a great deal. They went through so much being a Jew. I believe that even though she might have been a jew she was mighty smart for her age. After all she was only 15 years old when she died.

I just read Anne Frank. I can't even put into words of what I felt. When I fliped the page and it said DIARY ENDS HERE I cried.

I've been completely fascinated by Anne Frank since I was twelve years old (I'm 26 now). It's such an inspirational legacy that Anne left us, yet the world remains in such a mess. I pray we all find peace in 2008.

I read tons of Anne Frank books in 3rd and 4th grade. Since they were all the same stories, I still read them. I know all about Anne Frank. I did a project on her and I'm starting a story on her. It's very sad story, but I still think she's very pretty before she was taken away to a camp.
