ALTHOUGH THIS HAPPNED YEARS AGO,IT IS STILL SO TRAGIC TO LEARN ABOUT. EVERY TIME I DO RESEARCH ON THIS SUBJECT I LEARN MORE AND MORE AND IT JUST OPENS UP MY MIND TO THINK HOW LUCKY I AM TO LIVE IN THE WORLD I LIVE IN TODAY. BUT I AM GLAD SOME LIKE ANNE FRANK WROTE A DIARY SO WE COULD LEARN SO MUCH ABOUT IT.

I looked at the time line... can u add the genocide that is presently happening in Sri Lanka today...

Even after so many genocide around the world, we still havn't taken actions to prevent or stop it!

I recently went to a concentration camp in Berlin during February a very cold time of the year and going there all wrapped up wamr I was still freezing. We took a tour around the camp and to see what the conditions were like and learn about what happened where was horrible if you really want to get a full grasp of what it was like I suggest visiting one at the coldest time and you will never feel the same again I dont think its something I'll ever forget knowing that the place caused so much pain.

The Holocaust was not only a bruttle way of showing their beleifs, but if not for it we never would have descovered Anne Frank's Diary... that told us so much about the way it was for them in hiding. After the Holocaust mostly inoccent blood had been shed without asking for their opinoin. You shouldn't kill someone because of their religion or beliefs.

My father was kept in this camp. He was trying very hard to forget what he had experienced there all his life, but he did not suceed. I would like very much to visit this museum, but it is very far and I am not sure if this will ever be possible. My father died in 1997. I am going to be 60 this December, planning to visit the actual camp some time soon.

I've been hearing about the holocaust since i can remember. I am 1/2 German and my great-grandparents, who were very smart Christians, decided to leave Germany in the 20s because they had a bad feeling about what was about to happen. Thank God they left. I am a Christian also and I support Israel and the Jews 100%. The pictures I have seen, the stories I've read and the movies that try to give an insight on what happened have always impacted my life in a great way. I can never get through one book, interview or look at one picture without crying or trying to hold back tears. It is very real. It did happen. I have soooo much respect for the innocent people who died in that time and the survivors. My heart goes out to them and their families. I will never forget you or what you stood for. I will make sure my children and my children's children will know exactly what happened. My heart goes out to you all...still.

mi great grandfather was a english jew. although i do not know much about what happened i do know that he was able to escape and come to america.i feel for the jews soo much! i could never imagine what they have been through. i went to the museum and was shocked at what the nazis did to them. i cried soo much but it was a place i recommend everyone go. when a friend of mine asked why do we have to go there my teacher responded we are going to learn about the past so this will never happen again in the future.if do see or have seen tthe museum and it affected you the way it did me you will do everything in your power to make sure it doesnt happen again.
