I think this website has been useful in some ways to my school project on World War II. I much appreciate this website and it being open to the public for resources and imformation. |

This booked touched me so much, I've read it about 5 times and I still cry all the way through it. To think how brave anne had been to survive all that time in the annexe with only little food and water. I She has inspired me to never give up hope and to keep going no matter what. I started reading the diary when I was eleven, (going through hard times with my family), it was a great support to me and by the time I had finished reading the diary I realised how blessed I was to live the life I was living. I pledge anyone of any age to read this inspirational, heartfelt story. It will bring out the goodness of your heart. |

I think that Anne Frank is a brilliant writer and she has a fasinating but sad story. I think she is so brilliant, that I am using her to write my homework project. She is fantastic |

April 12th, 1987 This morning I have dreamed that I was a pupil, a girl, in a group which had just finished its schoolyear. I said goodbye to the people who where present there and I had to cry, as it seemed something gone by forever. April 22th, 1988 Today I bought the book "The Annexe ; Diary of a young girl" by Anne Frank. While reading it, I discovered a piece of text which was similar to a dream I once had (see above). I checked it with my notes. The text says : "Saturday, June 20th. 1942. In class 6 B I came to see the headmistress, Mrs. K., we said a moving farewell to eachother at the end of the schoolyear and we both cried". This is a very touching group of sites. I for one am truly amazed at the effort and hard work put into such a matter.I will forever remember those who perished in the Nazi death camps and will honor them for what has been done, what they have done, and how hay will live on, in our hearts, souls and dreams. |

I read this book in grade four, with my teacher Miss Van. Her family was from Holland and she thought that it was important for young people to know about the Holocaust, so she read the book to us. Everyone thought that there would be a happy ending and that she and her family would live, so none of us were prepared for the ending. From then I have been interested in the Second World War, and I have tried to encourage my classmates in grade six and seven to read about it. The more people who know about it the better. |

I was in grade 4 when my teacher read the diary of Anne Frank to my class. At the end, everyone sat in shocked silence, appalled that they did not live happily ever after. The teacher let me take the book home so that I could read it to myself. After that I have a great interest for the second World War. I have read Woeful World War 2, True stories of children in the Holocaust, and others which names escape me. I am in grade 7 now, and I still remember the sacrifices that some people made so that the world would be a better place. I hope that if I ever am faced by the choices that they had to make, that I make the right choice. |

I first read Anne Franks story in grade four with our whole class. By the end just about everyone had a tear in their eye. It was so sad to hear that she died when they were so close to gaining their freedom. I am in grade seven now, and the story still touches my heart because of all that they went through. I loved it, but it makes me cry. |

Her diary always gives me courage when I face problems. She was so strong, its hard to believe that she's a teenager. Her story and her diary will be memorize forever. |

I was in grade four when my teacher first read the Diary of Anne Frank, it was so sad, but it taught me that even in horrible times there are people who are kind and risk everything to protect others. I am now in grade seven and I am still touched by her, her family and the people who protected them as best as possible. |
