Wow. She has to be the most important person in history. No one today can say that life is hard, read the diary of anne frank and you'll know about a hard life. She went through two years of her life in an annex and most of we as americans have gone through life with a silver spoon in our mouths. She is German's hero and most of all she is America's hero |

When you read Anne Frank's diary you can feel close to her when you read all of her writings. What I noticed was that over the course of when Anne writes in her diary, she transforms from a young girl who writes about her family and quarels to a young woman that starts to think up ways to improve the world and is determined to uphold her ideals in a world that is at war, and when Anne died, she left us a powerful reminder of what happended from 1939 to 1945 and that this should never happen again. |

right now my class is learning about the holocause and anne frank,. iv'e learened so much from her , i feel as though i can relate to her. i wish she was still alive so me and my freinds could spend time with her.shes a strong lady. and i love her story. |

i am 19 yrs old, and i learnt about Anne Frank from watching a movie named "freedom writers" i was so inspired by the movie i became very intrigued with anne frank who she was and wat she stood 4! i am so amazed by what she did, and i know that if she had only lived through those harsh times she would've acheived greatness. But it can be said that for as short as she was allowed to be on this earth, she truely made her mark, and it is still quite evident even today!! =) |

Anne draws you in and you can feel the walls around you, as if you were there in hiding with her. You feel her dreams and sense her fear. Her spirit behind that bookcase was released and launched into her dream. Every viewing of this site, and every book bought and read are the legacy of an ongoing dream-come-true for Anne. Anne Frank was welcomed into my heart 12 years ago when I first read "Diary of a Young Girl", Definitive Edition. This website prompted me to check the book out from the local library. However, I'm wondering what edition was used in this website. I've noticed a few words are different, particicularly in the introductory entries. I would like to read the version used for this website, just for the different flavor those few word shifts bring. I've requested a copy of the Critical Edition which contains both her original diary and the version she began editing. I am hoping this contains the text that I am seeking.
She was truly an amazing young woman - and I feel as though, no matter what point in my life, no matter my age, I will always find something to learn from her.

I read Anne Franks book for my book report. And i loved it it was sad to red about what she was going through. And i feel very sorry for her. But, at least she lived a well life and she did a wonderful, no a greatful thing. Let her Rest IN Peace. R.I.P Anne Frank A.K.A my HERO!! |

Anne Frank is my hero. I find it so interesting that someone of her age can write the deepest thoughts, and express the feelings bottled up inside of her. I read the diary of Anne Frank several years ago, but I cherish it as if it were the biggest amount of money, or fame. I would much rather have this than that. Since then I dedicate my life to her. God bless her and her family and friends. I have never met her, and yet, i feel that I have known her my whole life. She had so much going for her and its ashame that someone could look into the eyes of that girl and want to kill her. We are all equal, and I wish that people like Hitler knew that, and I hope that people start realizing that now. If I were alive at that time, we could have been the best of friends.
