When our class read the play about Anne Frank, it really opened my eyes to what the Jewish people had to suffer through during World War II. Reading it showed me exactly how much I really take for granted. It amazes me how Anne's spirit was able to survive through her diary. I hope that not only do we learn from this event, but that it is never repeated.

We really liked the book and the movie, The Diary of Anne Frank, it really showed how the Jewish people had to live with the Nazis during the war. Anne Frank developed and flourished during the war. We really learned that life is important.

I thought that Anne Frank was a really inspirational story. World War II was probably the cruelest war that ever occurred. Anne was also Jewish, which put her in enormous danger, but she held on for so long. The ending was very sad, but I guess that's reality.

Reading the Diary of Anne Frank made me realize how great our life today is. Anne being only thirteen shouldn't have had to live her life in fear.
I really enjoyed reading the play and getting the story from Anne's perspective because I can relate to her thoughts. I hope to read the book soon.

I really liked reading this story because it helped me learn more about the Holocaust. It made understand how scary and dangerous it was for so many people. I'm glad that her diary got published so people all over the world can read and learn from Anne's experiences.

The story I read about Anne's life amazed me greatly. The fact that they had to live on empty stomachs for 2 years pains me just thinking about it. I know it was very hard for them to live in a small space, with lots of people, and with little food. Sometimes, i take life for granted and after i read this book, i realized that my life is much better than the life of Anne. I loved reading this book!

My class has just finished reading "The Diary of Anne Frank". It makes me depressed to get to know the warm and fun characters living in the annex over a period of two weeks. Then, after a brief reading of 30 seconds, we learn about their quick deaths. It also makes me confused because I continue to wonder what in the world Adolf Hitler was thinking when he murdered all those Jews. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about the circumstances faced by Jews during the Holocaust.

Anne Frank was a real inspiration. She overcame difficult hardships and discovered something beautiful, a real love for life. She grew and changed in so many ways, making her a more incredible person. After losing everything, she realized that love is all that anyone really needs.
