Anne Frank is truly the paragon of human endurance and resilience. Throughout her two long years of abject oppression, Anne never lost hope. She remained strong and optimistic despite her confinement, along with the horror that was ensuing outside. During her stay in the Secret Annex, she seemed to blossom mentally; the confinement may even have assisted her growth. That is what appeals to me: a human sense of direction and purpose; a willingness to live -and thrive- despite terrible conditions. Anne Frank has inspired me to be cheerful, kind, and never to take anything for granted. As cliched as it may seem, I believe that those ideals are really what Anne Frank's life epitomizes. The story is tragic, but it is definitely a must-read.

Anne Frank's diary made the German's suffer their consquences because they know how the Jews were suffering for years. Anne Frank, living in a small annex with another family and person is difficult. Also, with a limited amount of food. When the German's found them, and put them into camps, they all suffered a great deal from illness and lack of food. But why couldn't Anne Frank survive three more days? What made her die so quickly: Was it the lack of food or illness, or even worse, both? It is so amazing how much Anne Frank cared about others. She was a true hero for all that she had done. I love how Anne gave Hanakkah presents to her family and others. She moved my life to care about everyone else and their feelings. I'm feel sorry that Anne Frank wasn't able to survive throughout the Holocaust.

The story of Anne Frank was very touching to me. There was so much feeling and emotion showed by the members of the Secret Annex that it wasn't hard to imagine what they felt like. Anne Frank acts like a role model for the newer generation. She shows not to take things for granted and be glad with what you have. She also shows us how the tiniest things can make someone happy. For example, during Hanukkah, Anne gave little gifts to everyone. Although they were small, it made everyone's spirit lift up. This story should teach everyone that there is no such thing as a perfect world. We need to accept each other's differences. The result of trying to create a perfect world ends in a disaster.

Although I will never truly understand what it must have been like in the Holocaust for Anne, I can at least see that it was a horribly dreadful time for everyone. Yet, even with all the hardships Anne facing, she managed to always have a positive outlook on things. I know that I could never do what Anne was able to do. My will to survive would break down in a matter of days in a concentration camp. Anne's optimism was so great that it even cheered the people up around her. For example, on the first Hanukkah everyone celebrated together, Anne made presents for everyone in the Annex. They were little gifts, but they lifted everyone's spirits up. This shows how something as small as a present can make someone happy again. Anne Frank shall be remembered for who she was; someone who never gave up until the end. She is a role model for all of us.

I read your diary when I was 14 (now I am 16) and I have to say that your life and your personality has made a big inpression on me. You were really brave and without a doubt you had to be really good person.I think that you are an example for today's generation. After reading your book I realized so many things. You are really voice of the holocaust and also the voice of all children who died in concentration camps. This year I am going to visit Auschwitz and that means that I will see the place where you had to live. I promise you that I will honour the memory of all people who died here during the second world war. Finally I have to say that your dream of being a writer became true because your name is now known around the whole world.

I have gained knowledge about The Holocaust, Anne Frank, her family, and her famous diary. I have learned so much about the pain and struggle Jews have went through in the camps and during hiding.
It’s amazing how Anne and her family were generous enough to allow others to hide with them, though they brought even more risk and harm to them. This impacted me because it showed how kindhearted the Franks were to do such an admirable act. They shared their food and made best of what little space they all had.
I feel impress by Anne Frank’s diary, it shows the circumstances Jews went through, while in hiding from Nazis, and went through. I am shocked by how they were taken a year before Germany’s defeat. I feel sorry that Anne Frank wasn’t able to survive and wonder what she would have done if she survived The Holocaust.

Liebe Anne,

dein muslimischer Bruder

Anne Frank truly has changed my life. I'm the same age now as she was when she went into hiding, and never have I read anything like it. Her words are so fine and exquisite, it sometimes can reduce me to tears. Such a beautiful life was lost, along with millions of others. She will never be forgotten, there will always be a special place for her in my heart. (Oh and I keep a diary to, and guess who I write to? Anne, ofcourse!)
