It's so amazing that at such a young age she could express herself so beautifully. I had read her book about 11 years ago (I was very young)but didn't quite understand it but it kept me intrested and wanting to know more. She has inspired me as well as so many other people. To have the courage she had at such a young age to know that she might not make it. To be in hiding for so long and to still manage to have hopes and dreams. I come to think somtimes ? What could of been of Anne Frank after the war, would she have been great writer, would her long time dream come true? We will never know, bad people, HATERS, took her from us and not just her many other inocent people not as lucky as her who were not able to share what they went through. Hopefully we can learn from a thirteen year old school girl (like she would refer to herself sometimes).About the tragedy and harsh treatment that some people had to endure for no reason at all. To know that there are people that survived after the war who went through all the hell that came in front of them, it's an honor and admiration that you did not give up. Anne was not as lucky enough to survive physically but lucky enough to be remembered by so many.

i am fascinated by WW2. i hated history class when i was in school... love it now that i can choose what i read up on. want to minor in history as a result! i have read this book so often it's tattered. there's just something about that book that draws you in time and time again. she was really insightful and wise well beyond her years.
