I read the diary when I was 8. I wanted to end the reading soon, so I could see the happy ending... It never came. I was sadder when I knew she died only 3 weeks before liberation. She was outstanding.

I first read The Diary of Anne Frank when I was a child and it changed my life. I was an abused child, who would spend many hours, days, etc. in my basement, unable to go outside or play with friends - I could relate to her and her bravery gave me hope that I wasn't alone and that I could be brave, too. I was heartbroken by her story and the entire Holocaust. It still hurts my heart that people can be the worst, but it gives me hope that like Anne, they can be the best, too. Thank you Anne - love you.

Anne Frank, You Are A Wonderful Person, And It Hurts To Know That Somthing Like The Holocaust Happened. And That Someone Could Be So Cruel And Do Somthing Like That. You Have Inspired Alot Of People Now To Be Powerful & Clever Just Like You. Rest In Peace Anne Frank. You Are Forever In Our Hearts...
