Abstract:
Contains registration cards arranged as an index to the names of Jewish prisoners of war, recruits from the eastern borderlands (Kressy Wschodnie) of pre-war Poland, held in various prisoner of war camps, stalags, and other camps in the area of Lublin, Poland, from 1939 to 1941. The Jewish prisoners of war were killed in Majdanek. The registration cards contain information on prisoner names, place of birth, date of birth, parents' names and camp where imprisoned. The majority of the registration cards include portrait photographs (mug shots) and fingerprints of the prisoners.
