Abstract:
Pages 182-187 include a list of 302 passengers of the 'Mefkura,' a ship carrying (mostly Romanian?) Jewish refugees from Constanta, Romania to Turkey that was sunk by mistake by a Soviet submarine on August 4, 1944 in the Black Sea. Only five of the passengers survived. Entries include age and last address.
