Name lists, death lists, and other records from the Nazi-administered Lodz Department of Health, for the Nazi Bureau of Statistics. Entries include incidences of specific diseases both inside and outside the Lodz (Poland) ghetto. Lists generally note recorded cases of particular illnesses for a given week, beginning with August 4-10, 1940 and ending with January 2, 1944. Also included are affected persons' age and address, and the dates suspected cases were first noted. Instances where diseases proved fatal are also noted. In some cases, only fatalities are recorded. Where this is so, family and first name, (former) occupation, year and place of birth and date and cause of death are given. Additional name and address lists of medical doctors, midwives, and nurses in Lodz are given, as is a name list of Nazi medical personnel transferred to Lodz
