Abstract:
This organization currently has a project underway to document all Jewish Holocaust victims from Yugoslavia. As of August 1995, the project was well underway. The Registry has been promised the data in computerized format. According to a letter from the Federation (Oct 1995), the project is following the same format as Yad Vashem's 'Pages of Testimony' forms. Thus the expected c. 35,000 entries will include date and place of birth, mother and father's names, profession, name and maiden name of spouse (where relevant), place of residence before and during the war and circumstances of death. It is not clear whether the source of the information is archival or testimonial. Researchers may fax inquiries to the Federation
