Abstract:
- "Braunschweig comes to us as a unique instance where, [...] a cemetery--markers and all--was recently discovered [by] the son of one of the 184 prisoners murdered in the slave labor camp of Braunschweig. [...] The names Ossie Schonfeld has obtained are of those listed on the Braunschweig burial grounds, together with the cities of birth and death, as well as the country of origin, if known. [...] If you feel that someone who might be a loved one, a member of your family, or a 'landsman,' may be on this list, you are asked by Ossie to contact him for further information by calling him at 718/436-8195."--P. 61.
