(Working Group Memorial Book of the Christian-Jewish Society for Cooperation) in Dresden has compiled a magnificent collection of information on Dresden (and neighboring cities) Holocaust victims and survivors. Numerous volunteers, working for the past six years, attempted to determine the fate in the Holocaust of 7,000 former Jewish residents of Dresden, and nearby cities such as Pirna and Meissen. They managed to locate information on about 6,000 of these persons."

Abstract:
- Database of Jewish residents of Dresden and surrounding towns prior to 1939 and their fates. Entries Include name, maiden name (where applicable), birth date, death date, last known address, father's name (where known), mother's name (where known) and spouser's name (where known).
- An explanatory note advises users: "The database is unique among German memorial books because it includes both victims and survivors. The extent of information on any individual varies widely, e.g. sometimes only name and date of birth or death, in other cases relatively complete information on family members and where they now reside. Since the material provides information on living persons, and because the Arbeitskreis plans to continue to add information , it was decided not to publish the material in book form. Instead it was compiled on a CD, which itself will not be widely distributed , which will be used as a reference base for the Arbeitskreis."
