Provenance:
The Federal Security Services of the Russian Federation (Federalnaia sluzhba bezopasnosti Rossii [the former KGB]) compiled these documents and recorded interrogations as evidence during preparations for the prosecution of several suspected war criminals from 1945 to 1947. The Central Archives of the Federal Security Services of the Russian Federation photocopied the records and presented them as a gift to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives in 1996.
