Abstract:
15 lists (approximately 2,000 names total) of Romanian and Ukranian Jews interned in ghettos in the (former) Golta District of Transnistria located in current-day Mikolayiv oblast in Ukraine. The majority of the lists identify (by number) the ghetto where each individual was held, along with their age and occupation. Golta (in Ukrainian: "Halta"), together with its neighboring towns of Oliviopol and Bogopol, is now known as Pervomays'k, as is the district (raion) named after it.
