Abstract:
- Collection of 14 town-by-town alphabetical name registers listing those who perished during the Horthyist Hungarian Fascist raids of January 1942 (also known as the "Great Razzia"), carried out against non-Hungarians, Jews and non-Jews alike, in the South Bachka District (Serbian: Juznobacki okrug) of the current-day Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in northern Serbia, then occupied by the Hungarian fascist government led by the Regent Miklos Horthy.
- The January 1942 "Great Razzia" claimed at least 12,763 victims, most brutally murdered and then thrown under the ice that covered the rivers Danube and Tissa. These name registers memorialize 5,841 victims from the following towns and villages: Becej [Be_ej.spisak.doc], Curug [_urug.spisak.doc], Gardinovci [Gardinovci.spisak.doc], Gospodinci [Gospo_inci.spisak.doc], Lok [Lok.spisak.doc], Mosorin [Mo_orin.spisak.doc], Novi Sad [Novi Sad.spisak.doc], Sajkas [_ajka_.spisak.doc], Srbobran [Srbobran.spisak.doc], Temerin [Temerin.spisak.doc], Titel [Titel.spisak.doc], Vilovo [Vilovo.spisak.doc] and Zabalj [_abalj.spisak.doc].
- Entries typically include name, maiden name (as applicable), age (in parentheses), birthplace, occupation, street addresses and other biographical information as known.
