Paragraph III of 6th Labor Battalion order no. 59 names 24 men from various Jewish Work Groups of the battalion who were released from hospitals in different cities, and who rejoined the unit. One of the men, Rafael Isak Revah, had gone AWOL. Paragraph IV names two more men still in hospital. The hospitals were in Sofia, Ferdinand, Kiostendil, Plovdiv, Lovech, Pleven, Dupnitsa, Shumen, Chirpan, Vratsa, and Dobrich. This fact suggests that in many cases the hospitalization was in the men's home towns, since these places are situated all over Bulgaria.
