Gymnasium and high school for boys
Gymnasium and high school students were typically between 14 and 20 years old. A gymnasium student in September 1941 was likely born between 1921 and 1927.
The gymnasium and high school for boys was located on Otylii. The street name was changed to Ottilienstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Otylii and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

User Comment:
I searched the database under the exact spelling of the last name "Skorka" and a year of birth of 1923 with +/- 5 years, and it returned multiple matches. I was able to find one young man named Chaim Skorka that had 4 total entries under his name (3 was listed as Lodz Ghetto Database and 1 was Volume 5). I believe that they are all the same person based on shared name, date of birth, and addresses with moving dates. He appears to be the most suitable match based on name and d.o.b.

I agree that this is the person who signed this name in the album. Thank you for relisting the information you found in the supplementary 5th volume.
