I believe that Maresa is this Binder because it listed that she was a student, a girl, and her age fit the range. She was born on February 4th, 1928, fitting the range of 1928 to 1934. She was the only one to fit all three catagorizes.

I agree that Maresa Binder is one possible candidate to have signed the album as Binder, but since not all students are listed as "Schueler" or "Schuelerin" in the database, I encourage you to consider other possibilities--Rywka and Sabina among them. Take a look and let me know what you find. Good explanation on this one, though!

After reading your comment about the ability that the deportation date of May 20 was a typo for May 10, I went back into the secondary sources and started to search again. A different possiblity, other than Chelmo, is that she was deportated to a labor camp in Czestochowa. 1,600 young men and women were deported there on May 10, 1942, which makes it a possible deportation for her.

This strikes me as a more plausible explanation, and it's clear that you thought the process through very carefully. I'll still mark this as "possible," since we don't know for sure it was a typo, but this is very good work--and it means you might find a record for her in a later stage.
