Josef Zajaczkowska was born on 3 Mar 1930, and lived in the Lodz ghetto with his mother Dwojra and sister Szejwa. They lived first on Muhlgasse street, and then moved to Sudetenstrasse on an unknown date. On 16 Mar 1942, just a few days after Josef's 12th birthday, he, his mother and his younger sister were deported to Chelmno. At the young age of 12, Josef, his 5 year old sister, and his 39 year old mother were killed in Chelmno.

I believe this is Josef, I'm thinking maybe they got Josef instead of Josek due to translation differences, or maybe the student wrote it incorrectly. Either way, the birthday would make sense for this child to be Josef.

I found Josek's mother and sister because they had the same address as he did. Also, they shared the same deportation date and number as Josek.

Using the secondary sources, I was able to determine that Josek, his mother, and his sister were sent to Chelmno. All deportations in March of 1942 were sent to Chelmno, and unfortunately were sent straight to the gas vans. It therefore safe to say that Josek and his family members perished in Chelmno in March of 1942.
