User Comment:

After an exact search for Heniek Lenga proved unsuccessful, I shortened the search to H* Lenga, and Henoch Lenga was the only match that came up. In addition to sounding similar, Henoch was also born in the right time range to have been the appropriate age to sign the album.

Expert Reviewer Comment:
According to the Jewish Gen Given Name Database Henoch and Heniek could be and the same name. I agree that this is the most likely candidate to have signed this name in the album.

I also agree that Henoch and Heniek (Polish and Yiddish analogues) are references to the same name. I look forward to seeing what you discover about him in the next stages.

User Comment:

Based on matching addresses, I have determined that Henoch had a father (Pajsech, b. 1898), a mother, (Tauba, b. 1903), and a brother (Schmil, b. 1935). They were all deported on the same date, February 23, 1942, on which date there was a deportation to Chelmno.

Thank you for adding Heniek's family to the record. I agree with your findings. Thank you for your research!

Thank you for adding this information to his record. I agree that a deportation on February 23, 1942 would have ended at Chelmno. Thank you for helping to complete Henoch's record.
