Gender: boy
School:
School #6
School #6 taught boys and girls who were deaf or hard-of-hearing. Since it was the only school for children who were deaf in the Lodz Ghetto, its students ranged in age from 6 to 20 years old, and were born between 1921 and 1935.
School #6 was located at Ulica Limanoskiego 45. The street name was changed to Alexanderhofstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Ulica Limanoskiego and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

User Comment:
We searched Motek Kac and the name we found Motek Majer Kac came up and fit the right years of birth. We found he switched apartments on the same street but we are unsure of the year. It also says his ocupation was a Kind which we are unsure of what that means but we do know that School #6 was for the deaf so perhaps they did not consider him a student because it was a special school. We also know his transport information.

Good work! I do think this is the student who signed the album, but I appreciate your reasoning through the occupation field as well. That field is tricky: we're not sure whether the student, the parent, or the record-taker would have provided the information for that field, so often we do see students listed as children or in other occupations (like Haustochter, for instance).
In this case, you'll also find Motek Majer Kac as Moszek Majer Kac (same year of birth, one common address). I think they're the same person--what do you think? If you agree, you can go ahead and add Moszek Majer Kac's information to this stage as well, then look for both names as you head into the next stages. Great job and well-reasoned.
