User Comment:
I searched a fuzzy last name and found a slight mis-spelling, but I have learned that minor spelling differences can be a result of translation mistakes or simply that the handwriting was difficult to read. Since Elka Krajtman was born in the time frame that Elka Krajgman was, I assume that this is her.

I do agree you have found the student who signed the book! Great job. Best of luck in the next stages.

User Comment:
Each sibling and parent are recorded at the same address as Elka and are born in reasonable year differences to be marked as sibling or parent. Two men lived at the same address as Elka and could have been her father. It is possible that one is the father and one is an uncle.

I agree that you have found her family. Thank you for adding them to the record. Can you find out more about their fate on the following stages? Good luck for your research!

User Comment:
I found an Ajzyk Krajtman in the survivor's registry. There is no middle name present, but it is possible that this could be the same Ajzyk.
I also found Chana with the same birth date, so she must have survived.

Is there any information linking these people to the Lodz Ghetto? Chana having the same birthdate leads me to believe that they are the same person--is there any other information in that resource that might help you uncover what happened to Elka? You might also consider looking to see if either Ajzyk or Chana gave testimony that might shed light on Elka's fate.
