I agree that this is most likely the person who signed this name in the album. In 1941 he would have been 8 years old, the right age to attend school #20a. Note that this is an A.M. address, meaning that Benjamin and his family lived here before and immediately after the creation of the ghetto.

User Comment:

I found a family for Izrael Biniamin, including Schmul Sanwel (b. 1894, possible father), Tauba (b. 1894, possible mother), and possible siblings (although there is admittedly quite a bit of age difference between the oldest and the youngest, so they could also be cousins), including Nacha (b. 1920), Hana (b. 1923), Chawa Perla (b. 1925), and Rajzla (b. 1927). All of these family members were deported on the same date--February 27, 1942--on which (according to Secondary Sources) there was a deportation to Chelmno. I have concluded that this family likely went to Chelmno. The only exception is Schmul Sanwel, who has a death date (August 5, 1941) listed in his profile.

Nice work! Thank you for adding Biniamin's family members to the record.

Thank you for adding his family to the record, and for helping to complete his record. You can add Chelmno as a place of death, unfortunately.
