User Comment:
When "Krauze, A" is searched for, two boys and two girls comes up. This immediately narrows it to two subjects. One gives a full name, Aleksander Krauze, the other gives Mojsze Abesz Krauze, age 17.
Once I go to the JewishGen search page, and enter the surname "KRAUZE," only Aleksander is present in the Lodz Ghetto List. This makes me more sure that Aleksander was the one who signed as "A. Krauze," as his birthday is in 1930.
Approver Comment:
I agree this is the student who signed this name in the album! In 1941 he would have been 11 years old, the right age to attend school #20b. Note that he moved from Hohensteinstrasse 37 #4 to Hohensteinstrasse 37 #2 on December 20, 1942 in the next stage. Thank you for making the suggested corrections. Good luck in the next stages!
Thank you!
