User Comment:
I did a search for all individuals with the last name Horonczyk and then went through each individual to see whether their birthdate fell within the correct time range and their gender. I believe Laja Horonczyk is Lea Horonczyk based on her birthyear, which would make her the correct age to attend school #9B, the fact that she is listed as Schuelerin (student), and that Lea could be a nickname for Laja.

I agree that you have found this person who signed this name in the album, for the reasons you suggest. Note that there is one more address listed in the notes field on her record: after July 23, 1944, she lived at Pfeffergasse 22. This date is late enough in the life of the ghetto that I wonder if you will find more information about her in the late stages of this project--did she survive?

User Comment:
Laja had a change of address on 23 July 1944 to Pfefferstrasse 22. While this is good, because it indicates that she was still alive in summer 1944, I will need to do further research to try to determine if and when she was deported.

I agree with your conclusions here. How did you determine these were her family members? I'm excited to see what you find in the next stages.
