I think I've reached a dead end. Palka seems to have been deported in 1942, with no records after.

Did you check the secondary sources for clues? If you check the timeline of deportations out of the ghetto in the secondary sources, you'll see that transports left pretty much every day in March 1942 out of the ghetto to the Chelmno killing center. Moszek Josef was most likely killed upon arrival there.
