When doing an exact search for Chaja Talerman, three results appear. However, they are not plausible as their birth dates to not fit the timeline for her to be a grammar school student. When using “sounds like,” Haje Talerman is one of the results that is listed. Similarly, when search with just the first initial and last name, the name Chana Talerman appears twice. It is impossible to tell which, if any of these girls are Chaja. However, the two of them were likely related as they shared two of the same addresses and also had the same deportation date and transport number.

 

It is possible that Chaja became Chana in a translational error, or was even a nickname. It is also entirely possible that neither of these two are Chaja Talerman, but by using the Research Project’s resources these are the two most likely possibilities
